Say, "Lord, if you will afflict them with punishment, 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.' 109 But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. 110 “Indeed this day I have rewarded them for their endurance, so that it is they who are the successful.” 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
