And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 “Allah Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
