The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 And the promised day, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 the fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they were sitting near it 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 And they persecuted them for naught save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life). 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Have you not heard about the stories of the armies 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 And yet, they who are bent on denying the truth persist in giving it the lie: 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Aye! it is a Recitation glorious, 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
