O all you who believe, seek you help in patience and prayer; surely God is with the patient. 153 Do not consider those who are slain for the cause of God to be dead. They are alive but you are unaware of them. 154 And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). 155 Who say when assailed by adversity: "Surely we are for God, and to Him we shall return." 156 On such men are the blessings of God and His mercy, for they are indeed on the right path. 157 ۞ Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs 'umrah - there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good - then indeed, Allah is appreciative and Knowing. 158 Those who hide the authoritative proofs and the guidance that We have revealed, after it has been made clear for the People of the Book, will be condemned by God and those who have the right to condemn. 159 Save those that repent and amend, and make manifest the truth; these it is toward whom I relent. And I am the Relenting, the Merciful! 160 Those who deny the truth, and die as deniers, on them shall be the curse of God and of angels and of men altogether. 161 Abiding in it; their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be given respite. 162 Your God is One God; there is no God except Him – the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 163
