The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Terror descends 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 So that they become dust seattered. 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 and a few from later times. 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 And fruit that they prefer 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 like unto pearls [still] hidden in their shells. 23 The reward for what they did. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 and banana trees, 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 near to flowing water 31 and fruits abounding 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 And couches raised up. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 And have made them virgins. 36 Loving, equals in age, 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
