NAY, but consider the moon! 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 until death approached us". 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
