Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what day is it timed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 The living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
