Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 Generous and recording, 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
