۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
