We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
