The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
