Say, "God is sufficient as a witness between you and me. He knows all that is in the heavens and the earth. Those who believe in falsehood and reject God will surely be the losers." 52 They demand that you hasten the punishment! But had it not been for the stated term, the punishment would come to them; it will come upon them suddenly when they are unaware. 53 They ask you to hasten the punishment, but surely, Hell is [already] encompassing those who deny the truth. 54 They will be told on the Day of Judgment, when the torment will surround them from all sides, "Suffer the consequences of your deeds." 55 O My servants who believe, verily My earth is vast; so serve Me alone. 56 Every soul will experience the agony of death and to Me you will all return. 57 whereupon unto those who have attained to faith and wrought good works We shall most certainly assign mansions in that paradise through which running waters flow, therein to abide: how excellent a reward for those who labour 58 Those who are patient, and on their Lord do they rely. 59 And how many a creature carries not its [own] provision. Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 60 If you ask them who it is that has created the heavens and the earth and subjugated the sun and the moon, they will say, "God." How then are they turned away? 61 Allah outspreads and restricts His provision to whomsoever He will of His worshipers. Allah has knowledge of all things. 62 And if indeed thou ask them who it is that sends down rain from the sky, and gives life therewith to the earth after its death, they will certainly reply, "Allah!" Say, "Praise be to Allah!" But most of them understand not. 63
