Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 [how can] you turn away from it?" 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
