But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 52
