Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 storming tempestuously 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 when heaven shall be split 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 for an appointed term? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 For the living and the dead. 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
