The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the sky containing great stars 1 by the Promised Day, 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 when they were seated over it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
