Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters would never desist until the Clear Proof came to them. 1 An messenger from Allah, rehearsing scriptures kept pure and holy: 2 Wherein are laws (or decrees) right and straight. 3 Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence. 4 And they have been commanded no more than this: To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practise regular charity; and that is the Religion Right and Straight. 5 Indeed all disbelievers, the People of the Book(s) and the polytheists, are in the fire of hell – they will remain in it for ever; it is they who are the worst among the creation. 6 Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures. 7 Their reward is with Allah: Gardens of Eternity, beneath which rivers flow; they will dwell therein for ever; Allah well pleased with them, and they with Him: all this for such as fear their Lord and Cherisher. 8
