Joseph (Yousuf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Alif Lam Ra. These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) manifest. 1 Verily We! We have sent it down, an Arabic Recitation, that haply ye may reflect. 2 We recount to you the best of narratives in revealing this Quran to you, even though you were unaware of it before it came. 3 (Remember) when Yusuf (Joseph) said to his father: "O my father! Verily, I saw (in a dream) eleven stars and the sun and the moon, I saw them prostrating themselves to me." 4 He said: O my son! do not relate your vision to your brothers, lest they devise a plan against you; surely the Shaitan is an open enemy to man. 5 “And this is how your Lord will choose you and teach you how to interpret events, and will perfect His favours upon you and upon the family of Yaqub, the way He perfected it upon both your forefathers, Ibrahim and Ishaq; indeed your Lord is All Knowing, Wise.” 6
