We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
