Indeed We have sent down the Qur’an upon you, in stages. 23 Wherefore persevere thou with the commandment of thy Lord, and obey not thou of them, any sinner or ingrate. 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 And prostrate for Him in a part of the night, and proclaim His purity into the long night. 26 Behold, they [who are unmindful of God] love this fleeting life, and leave behind them [all thought of] a grief-laden Day. 27 We, even We, created them, and strengthened their frame. And when We will, We can replace them, bringing others like them in their stead. 28 VERILY, all this is an admonition: whoever, then, so wills, may unto his Sustainer find a way. 29 And ye will not, unless Allah willeth. Verily Allah is ever Knowing, Wise. 30 He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment. 31
