THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
