And make mention (O Muhammad) of Our bondman Job, when he cried unto his Lord (saying): Lo! the devil doth afflict me with distress and torment. 41 (Allah said to him): "Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink." 42 And We bestowed his household to him and one more similar to it as a mercy from Us, and as a remembrance for the people of intellect. 43 And (it was said unto him): Take in thine hand a branch and smite therewith, and break not thine oath. Lo! We found him steadfast, how excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (to his Lord). 44 Also, remember Our worshipers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, those of might and vision. 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 And remember Ismail and Yasa’a (Elisha) and Zul-Kifl; and they are all excellent. 48 This is a Reminder, and indeed for the cautious is a fine return, 49 the Gardens of Eden whose gates shall be open to them, 50 Wherein, reclining, they call for plenteous fruit and cool drink (that is) therein. 51 ۞ And with them shall be those restraining their eyes, equals in age. 52 This is what you were promised on the Day of Reckoning: 53 Indeed this is Our sustenance, which will never end. 54 But the arrogant will have the worst return: 55 hell will they have to endure - and how vile a resting-place! 56 All this; so let them taste it - boiling water and pus, 57 And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds. 58 'This is a troop rushing in with you; there is no Welcome for them; they shall roast in the Fire.' 59 Their followers will say, "In fact, it is you who deserve condemnation. It was you who led us to hell, a terrible dwelling". 60 They will continue saying, "Lord, double the torment of fire for those who led us into this. 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or is it that [they are here, and] our eyes have missed them?" 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
