۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
