3/4 Hizb 45

And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity, 76 and We made his seed the survivors, 77 We perpetuated his praise in later generations. 78 Salamun (peace) be upon Nuh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!" 79 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 80 For he was one of our believing Servants. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ Verily among those who followed his Way was Abraham. 83 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 Do you want to worship false idols as your lords besides God? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars, 88 and said, "Verily, I am sick [at heart]!" 89 so they turned their backs on him and went off. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93 Then they advanced toward him, hastening. 94 Abraham said to them: “Do you worship what you yourselves have carved with your own hands 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones. 98 (Abraham) said, "I will go to my Lord who will guide me". 99 [And he prayed:] "O my Sustainer! Bestow upon me the gift of [a son who shall be] one of the righteous!" 100 Wherefore We gave him the glad tidings of a boy gentle. 101 And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: "O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offer you in sacrifice to Allah), so look what you think!" He said: "O my father! Do that which you are commanded, Insha' Allah (if Allah will), you shall find me of As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.)." 102 But as soon as the two had surrendered themselves to [what they thought to be] the will of God, and [Abraham] had laid him down on his face, 103 And We called out to him, “O Ibrahim!” 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 For this was obviously a trial- 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 Peace be unto Ibrahim: 109 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 110 truly, he was one of Our faithful servants. 111 And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous. 112 and blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly sinned against their souls. 113
