Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Those who disbelieve and hinder others from the way of Allah, He shall send their works astray. 1 whereas those who have attained to faith and do righteous deeds, and have come to believe in what has been bestowed from on high on Muhammad - for it is the truth from their Sustainer - [shall attain to God's grace:] He will efface their [past] bad deeds, and will set their hearts at rest. 2 That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Even so God strikes their similitudes for men. 3 If you encounter the disbelievers in a battle, strike-off their heads. Take them as captives when they are defeated. Then you may set them free as a favor to them, with or without a ransom, when the battle is over. This is the Law. Had God wanted, He could have granted them (unbelievers) victory, but He wants to test you through each other. The deeds of those who are killed for the cause of God will never be without virtuous results. 4 He will show them the way, and better their state, 5 and will admit them to the paradise which He has promised them. 6 O you who believe! if you help (the cause of) Allah, He will help you and make firm your feet. 7 And for those who disbelieve – may they be ruined, and may Allah destroy all their deeds! 8 That is because they disliked what Allah revealed, so He rendered worthless their deeds. 9 ۞ So did they not travel in the land to see what sort of fate befell those who preceded them? Allah poured ruin upon them; and for the disbelievers are several like it. 10 that is because Allah is the Guardian of the believers, and the unbelievers have no guardian. 11
