CONSIDER those [stars] that rise only to set, 1 And those who undo the bonds gently, 2 and float [through space] with floating serene, 3 Then press forward as in a race, 4 by the managers (angels) affair. 5 On the Day (when the first blowing of the Trumpet is blown), the earth and the mountains will shake violently (and everybody will die), 6 There will follow it the subsequent [one]. 7 hearts will be throbbing, 8 Their eyes humbled. 9 They say: “Shall we indeed be restored to life, 10 “When we have become decayed bones?” 11 They said, “So this return is an obvious loss!” 12 But it shall be only a single scare, 13 and they will be upon the surface of the earth (alive). 14 Have you heard the story of Moses? 15 When his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa. 16 [saying], "Go to Pharaoh, he has exceeded all bounds, 17 Then say: Have you (a desire) to purify yourself: 18 I shall guide you to your Lord so that you may perhaps have fear of Him". 19 And thereupon he [went to Pharaoh and] made him aware of the great wonder [of God's grace]. 20 But (the Pharaoh) disavowed and disobeyed. 21 Then he turned his back, striving. 22 And he summoned all his people, 23 And then said, “I am your most supreme lord.” 24 you pay attention 25 In this, behold, there is a lesson indeed for all who stand in awe [of God]. 26
