Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
