The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By heaven and the night-star! 1 And what shall teach thee what is the night-star? 2 The very brightly shining star! 3 No human soul but hath a guardian over it. 4 LET MAN, then, observe out of what he has been created: 5 He is created from a water dripping, 6 issuing between the loins and the breast-bones. 7 God has all power to resurrect him. 8 The Day that (all) things secret will be tested, 9 He will have no strength or helper. 10 By the heaven which giveth the returning rain, 11 And [by] the earth which cracks open, 12 Lo! this (Qur'an) is a conclusive word, 13 and it is certainly not a jest. 14 Surely they will make a scheme, 15 But I too am devising a plan. 16 So leave the unbelievers to themselves; respite them awhile. 17
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
