The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
