The trumpet shall be sounded, when behold! from the sepulchres (men) will rush forth to their Lord! 51 "Woe betide us!" they will say, "Who has roused us from our sleep?" This is what the Lord of Mercy promised: the messengers spoke the truth! 52 And it is but one Shout and they are all arraigned before Us. 53 This day no soul is wronged in aught; nor are ye requited aught save what ye used to do. 54 "Behold, those who are destined for paradise shall today have joy in whatever they do: 55 in happiness will they and their spouses on couches recline; 56 For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish] 57 "Peace" shall be the greeting from the merciful Lord. 58 "But stand aside today, O you who were lost in sin! 59 ۞ Did I not ordain for you, O Children of Adam, that you should not worship Shaitan (Satan). Verily, he is a plain enemy to you. 60 "And that ye should worship Me, (for that) this was the Straight Way? 61 And certainly he led astray numerous people from among you. What! could you not then understand? 62 This, then is Gehenna (Hell), that which you were promised. 63 Roast in it now for having disbelieved." 64 This Day, We shall seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their legs will bear witness to what they used to earn. (It is said that one's left thigh will be the first to bear the witness). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 22, Page 24] 65 And had We willed, We could have quenched their eyes so they would rush towards the path, unable to see a thing. 66 We could have turned them into other creatures on the spot had We wanted and they would not have been able to precede or turn back. 67
