When God said, 'Jesus, I will take thee to Me and will raise thee to Me and I will purify thee of those who believe not. I will set thy followers above the unbelievers till the Resurrection Day. Then unto Me shall you return, and I will decide between you, as to what you were at variance on. 55 Those who are infidels will surely receive severe punishment both in this world and the next; and none will they have to help (or save) them. 56 whereas unto those who attain to faith and do good works He will grant their reward in full: for God does not love evildoers." 57 (Muhammad), what we recite to you are revelations and words of wisdom. 58 The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was. 59 The Truth (comes) from Allah alone; so be not of those who doubt. 60 If any one disputes in this matter with thee, now after (full) knowledge Hath come to thee, say: "Come! let us gather together,- our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves: Then let us earnestly pray, and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie!" 61 This is the true account: There is no god except Allah; and Allah-He is indeed the Exalted in Power, the Wise. 62 And if they turn their backs, truly Allah knows those who cause mischief. 63
