۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
