۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
