Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 to come back to life after we have died and become dust? That is most improbable!" 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong). 5 Have they not looked up to the heaven above them, in what wise We have constructed and bedecked it, and that therein is no rift? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters, 10 A provision for (Allah's) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead). 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 and Ad, and Pharaoh, and Lot's brethren, 13 And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubba'. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No indeed; but they are in uncertainty as to the new creation. 15
