The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
