۞ Can a man who knows what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, and one who cannot see, be the same? They alone take warning who are wise, 19 who fulfil God's covenant, and break not the compact, 20 and who keep together what God has bidden to be joined, and stand in awe of their Sustainer and fear the most evil reckoning [which awaits such as do not respond to Him]; 21 Patient men, desiring the Face of their Lord, establish their prayers, and spend of what We have given them in private and in public; and who ward off evil with good. Theirs shall be the Ultimate Abode. 22 Gardens Everlasting; they shall enter them, and also whosoever shall have acted righteously from among their fathers and their spouses and their progeny. And angels shall enter unto them from every portal, saying: 23 "Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home." 24 And those who break the covenant of Allah after its confirmation and cut asunder that which Allah has ordered to be joined and make mischief in the land; (as for) those, upon them shall be curse and they shall have the evil (issue) of the abode. 25 Allah grants the provision to whomsoever He wills abundantly and grants others in strict measure. They exult in the life of the world, although compared with the Hereafter, the life of the world is no more than temporary enjoyment. 26
