Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will reply, "Lord, our hard-heartedness overcame us and we went astray. 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known! 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
