The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 By the angels driving away. 2 and those who recite the Remembrance 3 surely your God is One, 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 and if they see any Sign, they laugh it away 14 And say: "This is only magic. 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 And our fathers too?" 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 It will be but one Shout, then see, they are watching 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
