And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
