Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
