▼ 39 The Throngs
Al-Zumer 7 of 8
(O Prophet), say: “Ignorant people! Do you bid me to serve any other beside Allah?” 64 It has already been revealed to you and to those who have gone before you that if you ascribe any partner to God, all your works will come to nothing, and you will surely be among the losers. 65 Aye! Allah must thou worship, and be among the thankful. 66 They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. 67 The Trumpet will (just) be sounded, when all that are in the heavens and on earth will swoon, except such as it will please Allah (to exempt). Then will a second one be sounded, when, behold, they will be standing and looking on! 68 And the earth shineth with the light of her Lord, and the Book is set up, and the prophets and the witnesses are brought, and it is judged between them with truth, and they are not wronged. 69 And every soul shall be paid back fully what it has done, and He knows best what they do. 70
