Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship); 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
