The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 and by the promised Day, 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel: 5 when they were seated over it 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces, 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 in sublime almightiness enthroned, 15 He does what He intends (or wills). 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 upon an imperishable tablet [inscribed]. 22
