The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
