Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: 5 Verily along with every hardship is ease. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
