Yet man says: "When I am dead, will I come to life again?" 66 But does man not remember that We created him when he was nothing before? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein. 70 And every one of you will come within sight of it: this is, with thy Sustainer, a decree that must be fulfilled. 71 Then, We will save those who were cautious of Us, but the harmdoers shall be left there hobbling on their knees. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 And how many of the generations have We destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance! 74 (Muhammad), tell them, "The Beneficent God gives respite to those who have gone astray only until they face the torment with which they were threatened or to the Day of Judgment. Then they will find out who will have the most miserable place and the weakest forces. 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he peeped into the Unknown, or obtained a promise from Ar-Rahman? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall increase his torment (in the Hell); 79 And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength; 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
