Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
