Al-Najm 3 of 3
HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world,] 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
