So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 And all that ye see not 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 Had he attributed falsely any words to Us, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 and none of you could have saved him! 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 And verily We! We know that some among you are beliers thereof. 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
