No! By the moon 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 About the criminals, 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 Till death overtook us. 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 as if they were startled asses 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
